All I could think of when I saw the Illustration Friday topic today was my son playing with his Thomas the Tank Engine toys. Watching him get so absorbed in the world of his trains and seeing how his little imagination works is one of the great joys of my life.

What a great illustration - Thomas is such a popular train.
Great illo; both style and concept. I, too, have a little one (4yr) who has no idea what we are talking about unless we mention "Thomas," "train," "track," or some other rail-related word. :-)
